Privacy Policy

CO.OP NDS respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

We are the Personal Information Controller for the data described here.

3. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the following categories of recipients, and only to the extent necessary:

Where a recipient processes data on our behalf, we require it by contract to protect the data, use it only for the stated purpose, and delete or return it when the engagement ends. Where data is processed outside the Philippines, we take steps to ensure a comparable level of protection as required by RA 10173.

4. How long we keep your data

After the retention period, records are securely deleted or anonymized.

5. How we protect your data

No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a personal data breach likely to give rise to a real risk of serious harm, we will notify the National Privacy Commission and the affected data subjects within seventy-two (72) hours of knowledge of the breach, as required by law.

6. Your rights as a data subject

Under RA 10173 you have the right to:

  1. Be informed that your personal data is being processed;
  2. Access the personal data we hold about you;
  3. Object to processing, including direct marketing;
  4. Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
  5. Erasure or blocking of data that is unlawfully obtained, no longer necessary, or processed beyond its purpose;
  6. Damages for violations of your rights;
  7. Data portability — to obtain a copy of your data in a commonly used electronic format;
  8. File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

To exercise any of these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable period, ordinarily within fifteen (15) working days. We may ask you to verify your identity first. Note that some requests cannot be fully granted where we are legally required to keep the records, for example billing records under BIR rules.

7. Cookies

Our website and client portal use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You may block cookies in your browser, but the client portal will not function without session cookies.

8. Children

Our service is contracted by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. Where a household includes minors, the account holder remains responsible for the subscription.

9. How to reach us about your data

Send any request under Section 6 — access, correction, deletion, objection, or a copy of your data — to the contact below. Please write "Data Privacy Request" in the subject line so it reaches the right person quickly.

10. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we handled your concern, you may lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission, 5th Floor, Delegation Building, PICC Complex, Pasay City, Metro Manila — privacy.gov.ph.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The current version and its effective date are always shown on this page. Material changes will be notified through the client portal, SMS, or email.
